Description

The module will cover the sale and purchase of assets of a business, and the sale and purchase of a private company by share acquisition. The sale of assets of a business will be considered in the context of a sale by a private limited company. The sale of shares will be considered in the context of a sale by private individuals. The module will consider the statutory, regulatory, procedural and other issues that need to be considered by the buyer and seller. This will include consideration of the property, intellectual property, employment and pensions issues raised by the sales. It will also consider the taxation implications for both buyer and seller.
